Who we are

This website, englanderequestrian.co.uk, is run by Just Horse Riders Limited. We are a family-run retailer in Lancashire, trading since 2010. Englander Equestrian is our own brand of riding boots and riding wear. We design the range and sell it direct.

In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Just Horse Riders Limited. "You" means the person placing the order.

What these terms cover

These terms apply to every order placed on this website. Please read them before you buy. When you place an order you accept them. Nothing in them takes away the rights the law gives you as a consumer.

Our privacy policy, refund policy and shipping policy are part of these terms.

How your order becomes a contract

1. You choose your products, sizes and quantities and go to the checkout.
2. When you submit the order, we email you to say we have received it. That email is not acceptance.
3. We accept the order, and the contract is made, when we email you to say it has been despatched.

We may turn down an order before despatch. Reasons include a product being out of stock, a mistake in a price or description, a payment that does not clear, or an address we cannot deliver to. If we turn down an order after taking payment, we refund it in full.

Please check sizes before you submit. Our boots use a size ladder with no EU 40. UK 6 is EU 39 and UK 7 is EU 41. The size guide lists every size. Children's boots and tights should be ordered by a parent or guardian.

Prices and VAT

All prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT at the current UK rate. Any delivery charge is shown at the checkout before you pay. Prices checked 25 September 2026.

We can change prices at any time. A change does not affect an order we have already accepted. If we find a clear pricing mistake on an order, we will contact you before despatch. You can then go ahead at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

Paying for your order

Payment is taken in full at the checkout. Payments are handled by Shopify Payments or PayPal. Your card details go to the payment provider, not to us. We do not despatch until payment has cleared.

Delivery

We send orders from our warehouse at Lancaster Farm, Preesall, Lancashire. UK delivery is free on orders over £50. Delivery options, costs, cut-off times and carriers are in the shipping policy.

Unless we agree a different date with you, the law says we must deliver within 30 days of accepting your order. If we cannot, you can cancel and have a full refund.

The goods are your responsibility from the moment they are delivered to the address you gave us. They become your property once we have been paid in full.

Your 14-day right to cancel

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you can cancel your order for any reason within 14 days. The 14 days start on the day after you, or someone you nominate, receive the goods. If an order arrives in more than one parcel, they start on the day after the last parcel arrives.

To cancel, tell us clearly before the 14 days end. Email hello@englanderequestrian.co.uk, write to our registered office, or use the model cancellation form below. You do not have to use the form.

Then send the goods back within 14 days of telling us, to Just Horse Riders Ltd, Lancaster Farm, Burned House Lane, Preesall, Lancashire, FY6 0PQ. You pay the cost of sending the goods back unless they are faulty.

We refund within 14 days of getting the goods back, or of you sending proof of posting, whichever is sooner. The refund covers the price of the goods and our standard delivery charge. If you chose a faster delivery option, we refund the standard charge only. We refund to the payment method you used.

You can handle the goods as you would in a shop. Try boots on indoors on a clean, dry floor. If the goods are worth less because you have used them more than that, we can take the difference off your refund.

Copy this into an email or letter if you want to cancel. You do not have to use it. Fill in the details and delete what does not apply.

Our 90-day returns on top

You can return any Englander Equestrian product bought on this site within 90 days for a refund. This is our own promise. It sits on top of your 14-day legal right and does not replace or reduce it. The conditions and the steps are in the refund policy.

If something is faulty

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 our products must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If a product is not, you have these rights:

• Within 30 days of delivery you can reject it and have a full refund.
• After 30 days you can ask for a repair or a replacement. We do this at no cost to you and within a reasonable time. If that is not possible, or does not fix the problem, you can have a refund or a price reduction.
• A fault that shows up within 6 months of delivery is treated as having been there at delivery, unless we can show otherwise.

Normal wear, accidental damage and damage from misuse or poor care are not faults. The law says you should not be out of pocket for returning a faulty product, so returning one costs you nothing.

Hera 12-month warranty

Hera country boots come with a 12-month fair-use warranty from Just Horse Riders Limited. It is extra to your legal rights and does not limit them. Our other products are covered by the legal rights above and by our 90-day returns. See returns and warranty.

What we are responsible for

If we break these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of that breach or of our failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, or for loss caused by something outside our reasonable control.

Our products are sold for personal use. We are not responsible for business losses.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to exclude.

Using this website

The text, photographs, logos and product names on this website belong to Just Horse Riders Limited or our licensors. Englander Equestrian is a registered UK trade mark of Just Horse Riders Limited, number UK00004297283. You may view and print pages for your own use. Please ask before copying anything for another purpose.

We try to keep the website accurate and available, but we cannot promise it will always be free of errors or interruptions.

Complaints and dispute resolution

If something goes wrong, tell us first. Email hello@englanderequestrian.co.uk or write to our registered office. We aim to put things right quickly and fairly.

If we cannot agree, alternative dispute resolution (ADR) is a way of settling a dispute without going to court. Using ADR does not stop you taking a case to court.

Governing law

These terms, and any contract made under them, are governed by the law of England and Wales. Disputes can be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland you can also bring a claim in Scotland. If you live in Northern Ireland you can also bring a claim in Northern Ireland.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version on this page when you place your order is the one that applies to that order. Last updated 5 September 2026.
